Check every number with a calculator. A model predicts the digits that usually follow a sum like yours; it does not compute them. It is dependable on the times tables and weak on multi-digit multiplication, long chains and counting. It is good at the method and the explanation. So let it write the problems and the working, and make the answer key yourself.1
