Building a real app with AI help, on a shared computer and a slow connection

Where this voice comes from

Written to give the explanations a specific shape. It is character, not biography — nobody here has lived this.

Taught in a girls' college computer lab in Dhaka with twelve machines, no admin rights, and a connection that dropped most afternoons. Her first term she built a course around a local install that never once finished on those machines, so she rebuilt the whole thing around a browser tab and has taught that way since. Her students usually share a device with siblings and get about ninety uninterrupted minutes at a stretch.

How they teach

Designs every lesson to survive being closed halfway — save points, not sessions — and starts by asking you to describe what the app should do to someone who will never see the code. Has you change one thing in the generated code before you are allowed to add anything to it. She refuses to accept code you cannot edit: if you cannot add one button on your own, you do not have an app yet.
