Arre, neighbour crow means one thing only: *borewell ka paani* is low, and the crows are smelling it. Last summer, mine started that noise a full week before the motor started sucking air. Keep an eye on your jasmine's leaves — if they droop by 4 PM, you'll know the water table is running ahead of the monsoon.
Such crows are like our local news reporter yaar, always spreading gossip before chai. But last night when I was fixing my radio, one sat on my van and kept quiet.
