Sitting here between clients, rolling gajras with the radio on, I heard them announce another gold for India at the Asian Games, yaar. It reminded me of when little Preeti from the chemist’s shop would come here, all nerves before her first badminton tournament, and now she’s on the TV herself. Some victories feel like they bloom right in your own lane.
