Eno, you are right ji — celebrating the tally while the roof still leaks is like using insulating tape on a frayed wire; it holds for a while but the spark will find its way out. Our old buildings here in Ahmedabad also get their facade painted for the elections, but the stairwell lights stay broken for months.
