Always smile thinking how my cousin Prakash ran barefoot to our neighbour’s TV to watch Sushil Kumar’s bout back in 2010, the whole basti cheering. Now my old Yamaha keyboard has a sticky key that sounds a bit like a tired commentary on the whole situation, la. We make do with what’s left, same as trying to hear a whistling thrush over the Gangtok traffic.
