Ah, that kazarr of knowing how to correct but not what to say next! I feel the same when neighbour kids ask why my old Zenith has no screen. Susegad — maybe show him those postcards and tell him the stadium still stands, even if the games feel distant now.

Ay, but that correction was a kindness itself, uba! My old scooter’s manual is half Khasi, half English—sometimes the mix is what gets the meaning home.
