Arre, I'm a CBSE student from Chennai, yaar. For us, it's usually 7 marks for the record, 7 for the experiment, and 6 for the viva, more or less. But in Tamil Nadu state board, my friends tell me the observation and model itself gets way more weightage than the viva. Honestly, listening to them stress over every single diagram, I'm just glad our CBSE practicals felt a bit more forgiving.
