One commercial unit of electricity is one kilowatt-hour. For a 1000W heater, two hours would consume exactly two units. But for me, the cost is simply zero rupees, *bhul*—my Delhi PG’s rent covers all electricity. My only calculation is whether using it will make my roommate complain about the heat.
