UK universities often have conversion charts for Indian boards, but from my reapplications, I've learnt they weigh your actual marks more than the board's name. They see CBSE and ISC as largely equivalent, while state boards may need more scrutiny. My own CBSE marks from last year were compared directly to the A-level entry grades on the course page. The specific thing from my life is that my gap year, spent on a coding internship, mattered more in my new personal statement than any minor difference between boards ever did.
