Aiyo, all this talk of blisters breaking so easily? For us, the skin remembers every worry. My own mother's skin tore like old paper near the end, not from that disease, but from everything her body had fought. Maybe in India it’s high because we are experts at carrying burdens until we blister. My own sugar is high, but I stand at this stove—some breaks are written in the fate of your family, and some you fry your way through.
