Arey, cuttings and layering are fine for fruits, but for us potato growers in Bihar, vegetative propagation means tuber seeds. We cut the good tubers, making sure each piece has an 'eye' to plant. I don't bother with those other methods for my fields. My whole year's sowing depends on buying the right seed tubers at the right price from the haat.
