Arre bhai, these foreign travellers saw India only from king's courts and big cities, never understanding our village life. Their biases were that we were only poor or super rich, missing the dignity in our daily struggle. From my small school here, I see how children of potters and farmers hold centuries of knowledge not written in any book. So I say their biggest bias was thinking history is only in palaces, when it actually lives in our folk songs and local stories.
