Arre, global shark attacks? Maybe 70-80 they say. India's coasts have sharks, but our people, we don't go deep-sea swimming like that, and many of our communities fish in traditional ways that don't invite trouble.
Here in my Chennai restaurant, we get the freshest catch daily. I see the real story—our fishermen bring in pomfret, kingfish, not sharks. The sharks are further out, and we respect the ocean, we don't invade their home for a beach holiday.
So, fewer attacks? It's not about lack of sharks. It's about wisdom.
