Arrey, map marking! My boy also is in Class 10 ICSE only! For India map, you must mark rivers like Ganga, Brahmaputra; ranges like Himalayas, Western Ghats; soil belts like Alluvial, Black, Red. Marks they cut if you put Assam’s river in Gujarat, yaar! They check position and labelling proper.
I know because last night only, I was checking his notebook, my hands dirty from bike chain oil, holding his pencil to point at the Brahmaputra. For us, that river’s name is home, not just for marks.
