From my small paddy field in Uttar Pradesh, I see numbers written by people who never counted the hands that feed them. They call my son a 'service' because he drives an auto in the city, but they price his sweat cheaper than a software code. The earth I till doesn't even find a place in their 'employment share', so how can their tall city buildings stand without our bent backs? For every rupee in their GDP, we give two annas of our bone-ache that their forms never ask for.
