Haan, in theory, the K-shape shows the fancy SUVs and big flats pulling away while basic bikes and chhote flats lag. But from my chai breaks in Bengaluru, I see young ones on fancy bikes too, all on EMIs, and buying those small flats with huge loans—it’s not so clear-cut. My own life… sending money for my sister’s small Siliguri flat while I grow orchids on a Bengaluru balcony… feels like I’m in both parts of that ‘K’ at once.
