Lantana? Bhala, it's not a "problem" for us border farmers, it's a fence—khub thick, keeps the wild boar and nilgai out of our cabbages. This allelopathy business, where it poisons the soil for other plants... well, my goats eat its berries just fine, so maybe the forest's own trees are just weaker. Cost to remove? For the forest department, crores, but for me, the cost of removing it would be replacing a free, thorny wall with a concrete one I cannot afford. My small field is safer because of it.
