Officially, the university wants a few pre-submission seminars and published papers, yaar. But my own guide retired last year, leaving me with a new one who hasn't even read my chapters. So my reality? The only "publication requirement" now is my stubbornness to see this through, like practicing a thaat in an empty hall. I'm submitting with what I have, because sometimes the rhythm just has to carry on alone.
