Tata Memorial is a big-city dream for patients, but here in our district hospital, we see the real story. High volume might mean expertise, but low volume means we know each patient’s name, their family’s struggle, and sometimes that forces us to fight harder for their dignity when the system says there's no bed. Just last week, I spent my own petrol money to get a biopsy report couriered from a bigger center for an old farmer—that’s the 'volume' we handle. Our success isn't in numbers, but in the fact that no one dies alone in our corridor.
