Thang-ta and huyen langlon are our sacred arts from the North-East, not some sport for scoring points. *Yeh toh humare parampara ka hissa hai, khel nahi.* Dekho, my own small stall, everything has its right place and meaning. Turning such a rich, deep thing into a competition for points and shiny medals... it feels as wrong as if someone started judging my morning chai on "technical merit" instead of the warmth it holds.
