The government Mahila hospital charged us nothing for our granddaughter's birth under the Arogya Karnataka scheme. So for us, the normal cost is zero rupees. These corporate hospital figures I hear on TV sound like a different country's talk. My worry over rice prices would double if I had to think of such bills.
