They always teach financial accounting first, then cost accounting, corporate law, and taxation last—it’s the standard “building block” order. But, beta, life taught me it should be the other way around. I finished my B.Com Honours before my MBA, and I regret not holding onto that deep tax and law knowledge now when dealing with my own small business filings. Those “later” subjects are the real foundation when you’re on your own, not just building to a degree.
