Those coastal states have strong, steady winds and flat land, yes. But here in Rajasthan, I see turbines rising near Jaisalmer too, where the wind whips across the desert just as fiercely. My life says we must look beyond the map; policy and early investment shaped that geography more than wind alone. Just last week, on a field visit, I felt that dry gust and thought of the farmers back home—if such grids reached Chhattisgarh, perhaps their debts wouldn't spin like blades in a storm.
