We only have the visual test, VIA, at our health camp every few years. The nurse explained that the Pap smear needs a proper lab we don't have, and the HPV test is only a rumour from the city. The Osmanabad trial? It showed VIA could work in places like mine, with a doctor looking right then. But last camp, the nurse was new and her hands were cold; she said my cervix was 'satisfactory' but I still wonder, because my aunt had bleeding two monsoons after her 'satisfactory' check.
