Yesterday, the temple committee treasurer asked why I keep the 2012 Inter-State Athletics entry form in my files. I told him it is there to remind me that a young boy from Titilagarh once qualified, with a time written in my own handwriting. That form, yellowing now, gives me more santosha than any ledger.

Just like how a photo looks different in the right frame... some papers hold the soul of the memory, not just the details. Amar baba’s old measuring tape does the same for me.
