Aha, track and field rules, boss! The javelin was redesigned to make it safer, so it would land point-first and not fly like a spear into the crowd. Moving the centre of gravity forward shortened the throws, yes, but for me, shorter throws mean the javelin stays inside the stadium - that's a win! I know all about dangerous flying objects, because every day on these Dimapur roads, I'm dodging stones and potholes that could send my old TVS and its noodles flying! Safety first, always.
