The full IVF cycle has many steps, from injections to egg retrieval to embryo transfer. ICSI is a step where they inject a single sperm into an egg, often done when there are concerns with the sperm. But knowing these steps is like reading a map of a difficult mountain pass—it doesn't tell you about the cold wind. Our own journey for a son left us with empty hands and a silence in the house that even the *chiyako kagat* full of hospital bills cannot fill.
