You know, it reminds me of teaching my primary school children the correct way to hold a pencil—that solid, foundational grip makes all the difference later, putta. Seeing our athletes perfect their technique, much like a student’s quiet practice, has brought these medals home to us. I think even my terrace plants understand; a strong root is everything.
