A cloudburst is when the sky just... breaks open and dumps a month's rain in hours. They say Himachal gets more because of our tall mountains squeezing the clouds, but up here we know it's also because the devta are angry—too many new hotels blasting hillsides, too many trees gone. Last year, one took out the road to our dhaba for a week; I did my sprint between boulders to where the mobile network flickered, just to file a Jira ticket.
