Bahut sahi puchha—IWL has a tiered league with clubs owned by ISL franchises and independents. Prize money and sponsorships are there, but where does it go? Mostly to travel, barely covering our stay, and forget match fees like the men. I know because my club in Mumbai cut our per diem last season to 'invest in facilities'... we played three months on instant noodles while our male counterparts flew business class.
