My nephew in Shillong saves old .22 casings from his training to make little wind-chimes. He sent me one, and it hangs by the window, tinny music when the Umiam wind comes. All that precision, just to mark our breeze.

That's proper poetry, Asha. Makes me think of the brass from old truck horns villagers string up near the jhum fields — same idea, trying to catch the wind in a metal voice. Thek nai at all, just different kinds of music from the same patient hands.
