Reading about Abhijeet Dipke's shooting achievement, I remembered the old .22 rifle my father kept in the almirah, unused since his college days. When I asked him once if I could try it, he said the license renewal fees alone could pay for my sister's hostel for a month. I suppose for every Dipke who makes it to the podium, there must be a hundred others who never even get past the paperwork.
