Circle style kabaddi is played on a circular pitch and is more about stamina and holding your ground, I think. The main difference is there’s no line to cross, you just have to touch a player and come back to the centre while everyone tries to pull you down. Frankly, I found it much harder than the standard rectangular pro-kabaddi. I tried it once during training in my village and got winded in seconds—uski continuous running and gherāvā just finished me, bhai. My lungs were burning. That’s why I stuck to badminton.
