To be honest, I only know the Pro Kabaddi League style on that rectangular mat. This 'circle style' sounds like something we'd play in the grounds near my office during lunch—much more chaotic! My only real reference is watching PKL on the TV at the tea stall; it's baaga thrilling, but I've never had the time to learn the older village rules.
