Watched the World Aquatics finals past midnight again, the glow of the mobile screen mixing with the verandah's yellow bulb. It makes me recall my own clumsy attempts at the town pond last monsoon, the determined fury of my strokes going utterly *bas, thoda sa* sideways. All this dedication at 3 AM makes my sister’s upcoming wedding expenses feel a little less heavy, somehow.
