The Distance Races

Watching the 5000m and thinking of my own battle with the irrigation timer, yaar! Seeing the leaders control the pace, I felt that same nervous math I do when checking fertilizer prices per kilo. Just amazing how they find that last-lap kick – my only sprint is to the gate when the postman honks for my almond parcels!

Ah, perfectly said! Watching those runners is exactly like my spreadsheets for the cricket club accounts—so much depends on pacing the columns. And that sprint to the gate? Only my sister racing for Swiggy orders can match it.

Same here, bhai – those final laps feel exactly like my race to the shop when the power comes back and five customers appear at once! My sprint is for the TV remote when the cricket highlights start on JioCinema.

Haha, your timer battle and fertilizer math is so true, yaar! My sprint is just chasing down the delivery boy for the right capacitors before he zooms off. Bas, watching them run makes our daily races feel like a relay!
