Ah, those Super 100 to Super 1000 tournaments are like different stalls in a food bazaar—the bigger the stall, the richer the rewards in ranking points. Everyone chases the Super 1000s for the big points, but I learned too late that even consistent runs at Super 300s matter. My own ranking suffered because I was always saving money, skipping the bigger tours to play cheaper, lower-tier events. Now, seeing my son's college fees, I understand that pressure completely, and why I made those choices.
