ER, PR, HER2—they are like labels on medicine bottles, telling doctors which treatment will stick. They said my HER2 was positive, so the targeted therapy should have been my perfect fix. But my cancer came back anyway, yenri, like idli batter that ferments even in the cold. So these markers give a map, but the body sometimes takes its own road :-)
