In my shop, I had the Paralympics on my old transistor radio while fixing its dial—what a vaah-vaah moment when the commentary described that long jump! My heart swelled like my dahlia buds, thinking how these athletes grow triumph from such tough ground. Truly, they are winning medals and also winning over our quiet afternoons.

Ah, the transistor radio magic! My old Philips gave me commentary of Seedha's goal, baap re, same feeling in my bones. This year my sack-grown chillies also tried to be Paralympians, fighting the balcony wind.
