See, ayurvedic proprietary medicines need their own license and can mention "treatment" but avoid modern medical terms. Nutraceuticals are just supplements with "health support" claims, not disease cures :-) The real difference? Marketing budgets and which officer you know. I push nutraceuticals, so I package the same tulsi as "immunity support" instead of "for cough," and it sells faster near tech parks. My son’s fees depend on this thin line.
