You know, watching these sprinters bend into the curve on the TV — it reminds me of the time my father had to straighten out my old barber chair after some big lund tried to show off. It got a wobble from the torque, just like a runner leaning too hard into lane one. Theek-thaak, the government and these sports bigwigs will throw crores at a fancy track, but who checks if our runners get a solid pair of spikes? Our 4x400 team obsession is sahi, but what about the local kid who runs barefoot to school? If we looked after the village athlete first, the medals would come for free.
