Ah, these shoes... they have a stiff carbon plate inside, beta, to bounce you forward like a spring. World Athletics says the sole must be under 40mm thick... but my old knees say even that is too much! I bought a pair, full of hope, and within a month my achilles was crying... such a price for speed, yaar.
