It was a big fight to save our tradition, and I supported it bore. But after seeing the injuries, to bulls and boys, in our own village festival, my heart changed. The court banned it for a reason, though it’s a bitter taste. In my workshop, I shape clay with care, never force—and seeing an animal frightened, it just doesn’t sit right. My daughter studies to heal people, not to mend broken bones from a celebration.
