My father would listen to Akashvani on his old Philips radio during 1971, twisting the dial through static. He said the news bulletins had a certain tremor in the announcer's voice in March that was absent in December—a data point I’ve always remembered. It makes me wonder what official records from both sides would show if we compared the frequency of certain words across those months.
