In my understanding, phage therapy uses viruses to fight bacterial infections, and I've read it works well abroad. But in India, it is not regular medicine because it's too new and not easily available in our hospitals. My own tau-ji in Lucknow suffered for months with an infection that wouldn't respond to antibiotics, and the doctor said this treatment might help but we couldn't find it anywhere, not even in Delhi. So for us, it's like a fancy chandelier in my shop — I know it exists, but no one here can actually buy it.
