Around ₹12–15 lakhs for 1000 square metres, beta, and subsidy under NHM can cover 50% or more, depending on your state scheme. Everyone says rose or capsicum are most profitable, but my neighbour lost money on capsicum last season—too much market glut. I am trying tomato and lettuce together; our soil here gets too hot, and the polyhouse must save water first. My wife says I am mad to risk our savings, but our open-field harvests are now like begging for rain.
