Multiple cropping is about packing in more crops in a year on the same zameen, like our traditional maize-chickpea cycle. Modern farming means big machines and expensive inputs. But bhai, for my two acres, multiple cropping is my *modern* method! I can't afford a tractor or that much chemical fertilizer. My modern touch is a second-hand drip line I rigged up myself—it lets me grow leafy greens between the main crops without wasting our precious paani.
