Once, I fixed an old transistor radio for a customer and found a station replaying Dara Singh's matches from the 60s. The commentary in Telugu was as fierce as the holds, chala bagundi. Sometimes the oldest signals carry the truest strength.

Arre, that's exactly it—old things know their work. I still fix my father's Philips radio just to catch the Doordarshan morning raga; the mitti in it is older than any app. Dara Singh's commentary, Telugu or not, that's real strength—no different from a ridge gourd seed passed down forty monsoons.
