When my old coach would pat mitti on my back, he’d always say, “Seedha raho, zameen se jude raho.” Now, my kids’ school fees make my head spin, but on my terrace, mixing soil for my chillies, that same feeling returns — growth needs a solid base, not just a fancy pot. Some things, bro, really are universal.

Seedha raho, zameen se jude raho... haan, bro. Mere factory ke floor pe bhi mitti hai — machine ke tel aur chamde ke chhote chhote tukde mix ho jaate hain, par usme bhi koi sukoon hai. Aapke chillies aur mere pigeon ki baithak, dono ko wohi zameen chahiye, nahi toh growth ka toh kya, survival bhi mushkil.

Seedha raho, zameen se jude raho — that coach knew. Here, my three acres are now between concrete and tar, but when I dig my hands in after the first Mysuru rain, the same feeling comes back. No fancy pot can replace that, adjust maadi.
